Yangtze river dolphins, also known as Baiji are freshwater dolphins who lived in the Yangtze River in China.

Due to excessive fishing and industrialization around the Yangtze River, this species of dolphin is critically endangered, and even some affirm that it is already extinct.

Baiji used to live along 1000 miles of the middle and lower parts of the Yangtze River from the mouth of the river near Shangai to Yichang in the west.
