Fun video. Hector dolphins swim in the waters of Akaroa, New Zealand.

Hector dolphins swim in the waters of Akaroa, New Zealand. In this video the color of this beautiful cetacean looks pinkish due to the color filter on the camera; however, they are colored with various shades of gray and some black and white parts. At time 1:14 you can see how people have the opportunity to approach these dolphins without the latter feel threatened by their presence. In Akaroa the boat rides to watch Hector dolphins, is one of the favorite tourist activities for visitors.

With a beautiful sunset in the background, a group of five people ride a motor boat to enjoy the unique setting offered by nature. Surprisingly, several Dusky dolphins make an appearance and swim beside them. The intelligence of these animals is amazing, then identify the relationship of the boats with humans and humans as friends. It is important to keep our oceans clean for future generations so they can witness these wonderful shows of dolphins, whales or any other animal in nature.

A group of tourists visiting the beautiful waters of the open sea in Puerto Escondido, Mexico had a wonderful encounter with spinner dolphins which featured a unique natural show. They followed the path of the boat, made jumps out of the water and performed “stunts” that left everyone delighted. It seemed like dolphins were showing off their incredible skills to their visitors.
Wild Spinner Dolphins. Watching animals in their natural habitat is something that not all humans have experienced.

Watching animals in their natural habitat is something that not all humans have experienced. In this case, a diver records the social behavior of a large pod of Spinner dolphins in the surrounding waters of the Hawaiian islands. The herd includes a dolphin calf that follows every movement of his mother and is always very close to her. Listen to the treble sounds they make to communicate with each other and watch their relaxed and elegant way to swim.

Hector's Dolphin - Cephalorhynchus hectori. Beautiful Hector's dolphins are filmed during a boat tour.

Beautiful Hector’s dolphins are filmed during a boat tour. Listen to their breathing and their communication underwater. This species is endemic to New Zealand and usually they are near the coast, making it very easy to see them. Unfortunately the Maui’s dolphin, a subspecies of the Hector’s dolphin is close to extinction because the pollution, habitat modification and mainly because they get caught in fishing nets, sometimes even not operational nets that are left behind by careless fisherman.
