Great video filmed in a water park in Vancouver, Canada about the jump of the Pacific White-Sided Dolphin.

Great video filmed in a water park in Vancouver, Canada where we can see every detail of how the Pacific White-Sided Dolphins jump out of water. This species is one of the most eager to perform stunts and probably the most widespread in aquariums in North America. Their incredible ability allows them to fall over their backs, something not possible for some animals. One of the main tourist attractions of the Vancouver Aquarium are their marine mammals. Dolphins, beluga whales and sea otters are some of the species that can be found in this aquarium of 9,000 square meters.

The risso’s dolphin is a species very different from other types of dolphins. Anatomically they do not have the long snout characteristic of other species and their gray skin has many white line marks all over their body. They inhabit tropical waters around the world spanning all continents except Antarctica. They can swim beside the boats or do it slowly. They are also called “Grey dolphins” and fortunately they are not in danger of extinction.

Pacific White-Sided Dolphins at Vancouver Aquarium. Amazing skills and coordination of these cetaceans.

The shows of dolphins in water parks around the world are one of the biggest attractions to the people, it is very exciting for both children and adults to watch them closely and see the stunts they make out of water. In this video, a show at an aquarium in Vancouver, Canada, presents the skill and coordination of these cetaceans. Many question the welfare of dolphins in these places, but it is also known that in the wild they are constantly at risk of being killed or injured by their top predators: humans.

Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin behavior. Dolphins are very social animals that are organized in pods and maintain physical contact.

As we know, dolphins are very social animals that are organized in pods and maintain physical contact, especially in reproduction periods where scientists have discovered that sometime there are up to ten males for each female, making it a strong competition. Although known as friendly and peaceful, we should not forget their wild condition, because when it comes to winning the acceptance of female dolphins, they can show aggressive attitudes and even perform chases and fights. Although these are not usually very violent or deadly, they may result in some injuries.

Fun video. Hector dolphins swim in the waters of Akaroa, New Zealand.

Hector dolphins swim in the waters of Akaroa, New Zealand. In this video the color of this beautiful cetacean looks pinkish due to the color filter on the camera; however, they are colored with various shades of gray and some black and white parts. At time 1:14 you can see how people have the opportunity to approach these dolphins without the latter feel threatened by their presence. In Akaroa the boat rides to watch Hector dolphins, is one of the favorite tourist activities for visitors.

Cat and Dolphins Playing. Did you ever imagine the coexistence between a cat and a cetacean?

Did you ever imagine the coexistence between a cat and a cetacean? It sounds impossible, but in this video recorded in an aquatic park in Florida, they show that both can do it peacefully without attacking each other. Curiously, you can see the cat, which has the reputation for having an antipathy to water and above all, to ignore whatever happens around them, is very interested to play friendly with the dolphins and such interest encourage him to jump into the water with his new friends.

With a beautiful sunset in the background, a group of five people ride a motor boat to enjoy the unique setting offered by nature. Surprisingly, several Dusky dolphins make an appearance and swim beside them. The intelligence of these animals is amazing, then identify the relationship of the boats with humans and humans as friends. It is important to keep our oceans clean for future generations so they can witness these wonderful shows of dolphins, whales or any other animal in nature.

Interesting video that talks about the Ganges River Dolphin and its lifestyle, as well as the conditions in which they live and the predators that share the same habitat.

For this, a group of researchers, including collaborators from the WWF, prepare special artifacts to learn about the lives of these dolphins and they even get into the water for best results. This species inhabits the fresh waters of South Asia and has the capability to regulate their body temperature, as they can live in waters from eight degrees to 33 Celsius degrees.

In order to continue the conservation of the Indus River Dolphin, in this video we can see what is being done with the individuals of this species that are found. The Rohri channel represents a danger to these cetaceans; therefore they are moved to the Sukkur river where they will be safer from the destructive actions of humans. Currently the Indus River Dolphin is endangered and if no actions like this are taken, is quite sure that future generations will only know them through history books.

Wild Pantropical Spotted Dolphins. This species are very skilled swimmers on both daylight or in the dark.

An underwater camera tries to film wild Pantropical Spotted dolphins that swim very close to a boat. This species are very skilled swimmers on both daylight or in the dark. They spend most of their time in surface waters, but they occasionally dive into depths up to 1,000 feet, mainly to catch their prey, as there are larger concentrations of life in deeper waters. In this video we can see that it was not easy to film them at a short distance; however from far we can see their beautiful and coordinated jumps while moving from place to place.
