The Yangtze river
dolphin, also known as Baiji is a freshwater dolphin who
used to be found in the Yangtze river in China.
Due to excessive fishing and industrialization around the
Yangtze river in China, this species of dolphin is critically
endangered and even there are some version that it is already
extinct.
Baiji used to live along 1000 miles of the middle and lower
parts of the Yangtze river from the mouth of the river near
Shangai to Yichang in the west.
