What types of bottlenose dolphins are there?

There are only two species of bottlenose dolphins, the Common Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) and the Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops aduncus).

Also there are two types recognized as subspecies of Tursips Truncatus:

The Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin (Torsiops Truncatus Gillii) which lives in the pacific ocean.

The Black Sea Bottlenose Dolphin (Torsiops truncatus Ponticus) which lives in the Black Sea.
